Powerdiesel Phils., Inc. is now a name to reckon within the diesel engine distributorship and generator set industry. Powerdiesel is set to offer diesel engines for marine, automotive and industrial applications, as well as generator sets. The company has been awarded last December ’93 to be the Exclusive National Distributor for the Philippines of Perkins Engines, Parts and Service. Perkins is one of the world’s largest diesel engine manufacturers.
Powerdiesel has expanded its distributorship of Perkins products and services on growing provinces like Cebu, and Davao. Aside from selling Perkins diesel engines for generator sets and other applications, Powerdiesel is extending its services to parts as well as repair and maintenance requirements to all existing Perkins engine users.
Since Powerdiesel started marketing Perkins diesel engines, initial sales and response have been very favorable. In the Philippines, Perkins diesel engines have been very popular in the generator set drive application, capturing a dominant market share.
Powerdiesel’s distributorship of Perkin’s diesel engines, as well as generator sets, continue to grow with a clientele that includes mining, food, manufacturing, telecommunications, transport and retail banking institutions, among others. |
